![]() He held a number of roles there in Sales, Sales Management, Strategic Marketing, Six Sigma Quality, Information Technology and Corporate Audit. Jay began his career at General Electric, where he worked for 16 years. Jay was responsible for growing a $40 billion commercial loan book in a variety loan products and markets. Prior to joining TD Bank, Jay spent three years with CIT Group as the President of Equipment Finance and as the Chief Sales Officer of Commercial Finance. These focused business units provide in-depth expertise for unique customer groups and account for approximately 20% and 50% of the Regional Commercial Banks's loan and deposit balances, respectively. Since June 2009, he has led the bank's Small Business Banking, SBA Lending, Restaurant and Franchise Finance, Healthcare Practice Solutions and Lead Generation groups. ![]() Jay DesMarteau is the Head of Regional Commercial Specialty Segments at TD Bank.
